This Privacy Policy describes how PHARMDAWG AI LLC, the company behind the hostdawg service at hostdawg.ai (the “Service”), handles information about hosts who use the Service and the people they choose to contact through it. By using the Service you agree to this Policy.
SMS / text message program
hostdawg sends transactional, service-related text messages on behalf of hosts. These include turnover dispatch notifications to cleaners on the day of checkout and check-in instructions or door codes to guests before arrival. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
No mobile phone numbers, opt-in data, or SMS consent information collected by hostdawg is shared with, sold to, or provided to any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes.
- Opt-in / consent. A cleaner or guest phone number is only texted after the host confirms (via an explicit, unchecked opt-in checkbox) that the recipient has given permission to receive texts. Consent is optional — hosts can use hostdawg without enabling SMS for any contact.
- Message types. Transactional only: cleaner turnover dispatch on checkout day, and guest check-in details (door code, arrival time) before check-in. No marketing or promotional messages are ever sent.
- Message frequency. Varies and is tied to bookings — typically one message per cleaner per checkout and one message per guest per booking.
- Rates. Message and data rates may apply, depending on the recipient’s mobile carrier and plan.
- Opt-out. Reply STOP to any message to stop all texts. Reply HELP for help. You can also contact us at pham425@gmail.com.
- Data use. Phone numbers collected for SMS are used solely to deliver the service-related messages described here. They are not used for any other purpose.

Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account information — your name, email address, mobile phone number, and login credentials.
- Property and booking information — listing details, rates, calendar/iCal links, reservations, and notes you enter or import.
- Contacts you add — the names, phone numbers, and email addresses of your cleaners and guests that you enter so hostdawg can send them service messages on your behalf.
- Payment information — handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers.
Information from connected services
When you connect a channel or device, we receive related data — for example reservation feeds from Airbnb, Vrbo, or Booking.com via iCal/API, and smart-lock status and access codes from your connected lock provider.
Information collected automatically
We collect basic usage and device information (such as log data, IP address, and browser type) and use essential cookies to keep you signed in and operate the Service.
How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
- To send operational notifications — including the SMS and email messages described above — that you configure for your bookings;
- To process payments and manage your subscription;
- To provide support and respond to your requests;
- To protect the Service, prevent abuse, and comply with law.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With infrastructure providers acting as data processors on our behalf — for example Twilio (SMS delivery infrastructure), Stripe (payment processing), our smart-lock integration provider, and our hosting vendors. These providers act under contract and may only use data to perform services for us; they do not receive data for their own marketing use.
- With booking channels you connect (such as Airbnb or Vrbo), only as needed to sync your calendar and reservations.
- For legal reasons — to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect rights and safety.
- In a business transfer — as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
SMS opt-in data and consent are never shared with or sold to any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes.
Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and afterward only as required to meet legal, accounting, or security obligations.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
- Access, update, or delete your account information;
- Opt out of texts by replying STOP, and emails via their unsubscribe option;
- Request that we delete contacts you have added. Depending on your location you may have additional rights under applicable law; contact us to exercise them.
Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated through the Service.
