Knows your guidebook, your tone, your local marketAI

A copilot that
already knows your place.

Trained on your house manual, your past 200 guest replies, and what’s happening in your local market this week. Ask it anything — and it drafts the answer in your voice. You always hit send.

You ask
What should I charge over July 4 weekend?
Hostdawg suggests
Joshua Tree demand for that weekend is up 38% YoY. Based on nearby comps and your 4.97 rating, I’d suggest $385/night (vs. your usual $248), 3-night minimum.

The helper

Ask it anything.
Watch it cite your own stuff.

Hostdawg AI doesn’t make things up — every suggestion links back to the source: your guidebook section, a past reply you wrote, or a comp in your area.

How it learns your voice

It gets sharper the more you use it.

No training your own model. No prompt engineering. Hostdawg AI just looks at the stuff you’ve already written — and learns how you actually sound.

Questions

AI questions, answered honestly.

Does the AI ever message my guest without me approving?

No, unless you explicitly turn on "auto-respond" for specific scenarios (e.g. instant reply to wifi questions). By default, every draft sits in your inbox until you hit send. You can mix and match — auto-respond to FAQ-shaped questions, review-then-send for anything else.

Will it hallucinate or make stuff up about my property?

It's grounded in your data — guidebook, past replies, bookings, and live market info. When it answers, it cites the source. If it doesn't have a confident source, it says "I don't know — want me to ask the guest?" rather than inventing. That's a deliberate design choice; we'd rather miss a draft than send a wrong one.

Is my guest data used to train your model?

No. Your guest messages, guidebook content, and booking history are used only to answer questions for you, in your account. They are never used to train a shared model or shown to other customers. Full data policy at hostdawg.ai/privacy.

What model does it use? Can I switch?

Hostdawg AI runs on a mix of frontier models routed per task — small fast models for SMS drafts, larger models for pricing analysis. You don't pick, and you don't pay per token. On Host plans you can pin a specific provider if you have a compliance requirement.

What if I want it to sound less like me, more professional?

Open the "voice" settings on your AI panel. Slide it from "friendly & casual" to "warm & professional" to "concise & direct" — and the AI re-tunes how it drafts everything going forward. You can also have different voices per property.

How much does the AI helper cost?

Included in every Hostdawg plan. Solo gets 50 prompts/month (enough for most single-listing hosts). Host plan is unlimited. There are no per-token charges and no surprise overages — if you somehow blow through Solo's limit, we just stop drafting until next month and email you to ask if you'd like to upgrade.
